Heather grew up in the Waterloo region, and after receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo, she attended the Ontario Veterinary College. Heather worked at Eldale as a veterinary assistant during her years at the college and has been working as a small animal vet since her graduation in 2009. Heather enjoys travelling, playing volleyball, and relaxing with her friends. Heather currently resides in Waterloo with her very handsome cat, Vinny.
Ashley graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2011 after attaining a Bachelor’s degree at McGill University. Upon completing veterinary college, her first job was in Toronto working as a small animal vet in a downtown practice. After a few years there, she decided to move closer to family and friends in the Waterloo area. Ashley enjoys working with the amazing staff at Eldale and looks forwards to seeing your pets in the practice. If you miss her in the clinic she is probably out hiking, camping, skiing, travelling or playing hockey. Currently living in Waterloo, Ashley shares her home with her husband, 2 daughters, and feisty kitty Olive.
Kelly graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2012 and started out working in both private practice and pet nutrition research. In 2014, she was delighted to join the team at Eldale Veterinary Clinic as a small animal veterinarian. Kelly has a special interest in dentistry and was awarded the Aventix convocation prize for small animal dentistry. Other professional interests include emergency medicine, radiology, pain management and assisting with community outreach programs. In her free time Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, kayaking, hiking, travelling and drawing. She currently lives in Fergus with her daughter, and her playful cat named Vince.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Guelph, Nikki graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2016. She worked as a mixed animal veterinarian for a year after graduation and joined Eldale in 2017. Now only practicing small animal medicine (and loving every moment of it!), Nikki enjoys meeting your pets and spending time in the clinic. When she's not at Eldale she likes camping, spending time with friends, and trains service dogs in her spare time. She currently lives in Drayton with her husband, a handsome Boston Terrier named Murphy and 2 rambunctious kitties - Goose and Roo.
Brieanne grew up in the Orangeville area. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 2019. After graduation, she worked in private practice as a small animal veterinarian and joined the team at Eldale in the summer of 2020. She loves the variety that comes with a day at the clinic and has particular interests in dermatology, radiology and preventative medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys working out and spending time outdoors. She currently lives in Waterloo and shares her home with her dog, Bruce and cat, Leo.
Lisa graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2014 and moved to the Waterloo region shortly after, with her husband and two dogs – Ellie and Neeko. She has spent time working in emergency and shelter medicine prior to general practice. Lisa first worked with Eldale in 2016 as a locum veterinarian, and officially joined the Eldale team as a full-time associate in 2021. She has a special interest in rehabilitation and surgery, and is working towards her Canine Rehabilitation Certification. She looks forward to bringing these skills to Eldale. In her free time she enjoys travelling, playing board games with friends and volleyball.
Emily grew up in the Niagara region and has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 5 years old. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts, where she competed on the rowing team. Emily returned to Ontario and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2021. Emily joined the Eldale team in the summer of 2021. She is passionate about surgery and enhancing the incredible bond between humans and animals. During her spare time, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, playing hockey, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends. Emily currently lives in Kitchener with her husband and dog Ricki.
Emily grew up just outside of St. John’s Newfoundland, where she completed her undergraduate degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland. After graduating from the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island in 2022, she left the east coast to start her career with the team at Eldale. When off duty, Emily enjoys tandem bike rides with her partner Dylan, crocheting, and snuggling her tiny house panther, Stevie.
Kiri grew up in Sydney, Australia and completed her undergraduate and DVM at The University of Sydney, where she graduated in 2022. Kiri met her Canadian husband in Australia and in 2023 they moved back to his hometown in Wellington County. Kiri joined the Eldale team as a mixed animal veterinarian to pursue her interests in both small and large animals. Outside of work Kiri enjoys hiking, camping and cooking.
